Mr. Bolton joined the Company as a director in 2013, bringing extensive public company and real estate operating experience to the Board. Since April 2025, he has served as the Executive Chairman of Mid-America Apartment Communities, Inc. (“MAA”), after having served as MAA’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2001 and 2002, respectively, until April 2025. Mr. Bolton was a member of MAA’s management team from 1994 until April 2025, serving in various roles including Chief Operating Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer. Before joining MAA, Mr. Bolton was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Trammell Crow Asset Management in Dallas. In August 2025, Mr. Bolton joined the Board of Directors of Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RHP). He has also served on the Executive Board and the Advisory Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“Nareit”). Mr. Bolton holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Memphis and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from the University of North Texas.
