Brent W. Wood is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer from 2017 through 2025. Mr. Wood joined EastGroup in 1996, and has served as Assistant Controller, Senior Asset Manager, Vice President, and Senior Vice President overseeing EastGroup’s Texas region. Prior to joining EastGroup, he was a Senior Audit Consultant with a regional public accounting firm where he earned his CPA license. Mr. Wood received his Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from The University of Mississippi.
